Since joining AbbVie in 2005, Kathryn has been able to progressively advance her career. She started out leading the technical support for medicine indicated for prevention and treatment of respiratory distress syndrome in premature infants. Currently, she manages the BioAnalytical group in Science & Technology and leads the support of the group’s key product.

Her passion for children is evident in her work/life balance with her own children, Jack, 8, and Ryan, 5. Located at AbbVie’s US headquarters, Kathryn utilized the on-site mothers’ rooms to nurse her infant sons. Until her boys were in school full time, they were cared for at the Early Discoveries on-site day care, where she was a highly active member of the parent association
